Brief information about the exam
The UPSC NDA Examination (I) 2024 is an entrance examination conducted by India’s Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
The exam is conducted twice yearly for admission into the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Indian Naval Academy (INA). The NDA Exam serves as a gateway for candidates seeking a career in the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force.
The Notification for the examination is usually released in December and May, and the examinations are conducted in April and September respectively.
Only unmarried candidates must have completed their 10+2 education from a recognized board or university and are eligible to sit for the exam.
The examination is conducted twice a year. Successful candidates are admitted into the respective Academies after an interview conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB).

How to Fill UPSC NDA Examination(I) 2024 Online Form
- Candidates are required to apply online by using the website upsconline.nic.in It is essential for the applicant to register himself/herself first at the One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website, and then proceed to fill up the online application for the examination.
- OTR has to be registered only once in a lifetime. This can be done anytime throughout the year. If the candidate is already registered, he/she can proceed straightway to filling up the online application for the examination.
